5Great One-man bass boat
By R. Barnes
So far, I've taken this boat out 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The construction of the boat is great. All the seams are well done and strong. This is by no means a rubber inflatable meant for the pool. It is a serious fishing boat in an inflatable design made of durable materials.

Here are some notes that may help with your decision.

- I purchased the pro model and I would suggest you stay away from the inflatable seat model. In addition I also purchased a 7" seat riser and highly recommend it. It will allow you to easily fish 360 degrees around the boat.

- I am using a Minn Kota 45 Traxxis trolling motor and it moves along smartly at 3.5 MPH with about 300 pounds in the boat all day.

- It does not leak. Air or water.

- Wind. It sucks. Buy an 8-12 lb anchor.

- Shade.... Google "Mantis" by "ProTecht" and get the swivel seat base mount. Pricey but absolutely worth it. Hobie Bimini Sun Shade Mantis - Junior 2012

- If you use a 7" seat riser, the oars are useless, due to the new height of your legs and knees.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFO (ESPECIALLY ARIZONA RESIDENTS) OTHER STATES MAY VARY BASED ON LOCAL LAWS.

If you put any kind of motor on this like I did, you must have it registered. There are hoops to jump through so let me save you a trip or two to the AZDGF. When you go to register the boat they will want a few things. The bill of sale (print your Amazon receipt), the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin with Hull I.D.# (Comes in the box), and a form you need to fill out to get your number issued. Here's the thing...if you buy on Amazon, you won't pay sales tax, but you must pay tax on the boat before you can register it. If you live in Phoenix, Tucson, or Chandler you can go into the Dept of Revenue office and pay it. If you live in Yuma like me you have to mail it in. Once you get the receipt back, you can register your boat. But wait, not yet, there's more. Now, since none of your invoices from Amazon actually show the HID number, you have to call Amazon and find someone that can sign a statement saying you actually purchased the boat from them. Well easier said than done. There won't be anyone at Amazon that can do this. I was on the phone in the Game and Fish Dept with Amazon for over an hour before my kind AZDGF lady told me I could hang up and she got her supervisor to approve everything without Amazon's signature. Major pain, but in the end my boat is registered.

So, to recap...my boat is awesome and I've had nothing but compliments on it. Even from guys with big expensive bass boats have said to me..."Man, I wish I had something simple like that for days when I don't want to fuss with the trailer and everything." It's everything I need in a boat meant to simply go out and catch fish. I can live without a livewell, its simple to just hook my stringer to the boat and let them swim until I'm done.

5Better that I expected!
By Jaxonius
I researched inflatable boats for quite some time before deciding on this one. The research paid off. This boat is very durable and easy to get out of my car trunk and on the water. I have used it several times since getting it and am very happy with this purchase.
