5A great all around kayak
By J. Moore
I have owned this dirigo for about a year and a half and it has been great. It's very easy to paddle and the multi adjustable seat makes it quite comfortable to sit in for hours.
I love the storage compartments and the tie downs which make it great for day trips as we can store stuff and keep it dry. The tie downs are great to hold a small cooler or even a large dry bag.
The kayak itself is stable and handles a decent amount of choppy waves.
The large cockpit makes it easy to get in and out of.
I carry these on top of my SUV. We have a 10 and 12 foot model. They are light enough for my wife and me to get them up onto the racks with little effort (and some practice of course).
They paddle surprisingly easy and the distance per stroke makes me never want to use my canoe again.
All in all we are very happy with our purchase and expect to get many years of use.

4Nice For Smaller People
By Phil Meek
I picked this kayak up locally for my wife to come out kayaking with me. It's a nice quality kayak, has plenty of room for storage, and fits her comfortably (she's 5'2"). However, when I tried out her kayak, I was unable to find a comfortable position (I'm 6'2"). I tried every seating position, every foot peg position, and just couldn't find any position that would be comfortable for an extended trip. While on the topic of seat controls, they are well thought out and easy to use. The seat controls are knobs located on either side of the kayak, just outside the rim of the cockpit. Their location, shape, and size make them usable even when using a spray skirt and wearing gloves. All in all, a well made kayak, but if you're a taller person, try sitting in one in person first.

5Great kayak for the price
By Deena Craig
Love this kayak. Definitely a great kayak for the price. Tracks beautifully. I also like the small hatch for keys and small items in the front as well as the cupholders. Comfortable, adjustable seat.
