This kayak is incredibly stable. It seems to be lighter than 45 lbs. I wonder if it actually weighs 35 lbs. I had my 9-year-old sit in the bow, and he even stood up, on the way back from a kayaking trip on a big lake, and the kayak didn't even rock. I put 2 scupper stoppers in the seat area to prevent the water from coming into the seat. Since the seat is raised a bit, water only stayed on the floor, and I didn't get wet. Wonderful!

I Bought The Kayak For My 11 Year Old Daughter, We Used It On A Fishing TriP; She EnjoyS Using It. We Look Foward To Using It Alot In The Summer.

Got just what I wanted. Great buy, so i bought 2 of them. The only thing is they do not come with any scupper plugs.
